Position: RN Nurse Manager of Blood Cancer Unit

Shifts Available: Full-time • Days

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Manager of the Blood Cancer Unit for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Role:
  • You will be responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital’s Mission, Vision and facility goals.
  • You will identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, considering business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell population.
  • You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
  • You will identify and remedy through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
  • You will work with Senior Management in meeting the goals of the facility and the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Units.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE working in a Blood Cancer Unit.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
Compensation:
  • Salary: Competitive compensation (Based on years of experience)
