RN Nurse Manager (OR) Operating Room

Position Title: Nurse (RN) Manager - Operating Room

Shift: Full-time • Days (6:30am – 3pm) with Rotating Weekends

Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations with a focus on quality and regulatory requirements of the Operating Room Department. Establishes and maintains effective, cooperative working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff and other departments. Assumes responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Director. Considers ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah or Registered Nurse compact license from participating compact states.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • CNOR required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Masters Preferred
  • Two years of leadership clinical experience in a hospital operating room, trauma level experience is preferred – will NOT consider any Surgery Center Experience
Compensation:
  • Salary: UP to $124,800/yr. (Based on years of experience)
