Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Surgical Tech.

Position: Certified Surgical Tech. (CST) 

Available Shifts:
  • Days:
    • 630a-7p (3) 12hr shifts
    • 630a-5p (4) 10hr shifts
  • Evenings:
    • 1030-11p (3) 12hr shifts
    • 1030-9p (4) 10hr shifts
  • On Call: will take call after hours, overnight, and weekend. The call is shared equally amongst all surgical techs in the dept. Must be at the facility within 30 mins. after called in.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures. 

Job Role:
  • Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures  
  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases  
  • Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN  
 
Qualifications:
  • Prefer candidates that have 2 years of CST experience and acute care experience (1 year). May consider a strong candidate that does not have acute care experience. 
  • MUST have CST certification in hand.
  • Previous scrubbing experience is preferred 
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Vocational School Graduate

Compensation:
  • Salary Range: Up to $32.86/hr. (Based on years of exp.)
  • Sign On: $15k  
  • Relocation Assistance: CASE BY CASE
  • Shift Differentials: Night: $3.25/hr.; Weekend: $2.00/hr.; Evening (if working 8/10 hr. shifts): $2.00/hr.
  • On Call Pay: On-call is $4.00/hr. and call back is time and a half
