Respiratory Therapist - RRT - CRT

Position: Respiratory Therapist - RRT/CRT

Shifts Available: Nights ONLY (Rotating Weekends) 


Job Summary:

Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.
 
Qualifications:
·         1yr minimum of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) * Would consider those with home care and/or long-term care experience.
·         FL State Respiratory License
·         NBRC – RRT/CRT
·         Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
·         ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
·         NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
·         PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Compensation:
  • Pay Rates: UP to $36.95/hr. (Based on years of experience)
  • Sign On: 15K
  • Relocation: case by case
  • Shift Diff: $3.25/hr. (Nights); $2/hr. (Weekends)
