Job Summary: Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases. Qualifications: ·1yr min of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) * Would consider those with home care and/or long-term care experience * Would Also consider CRT experience ·FL State Respiratory License ·NBRC – RRT/CRT ·Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) ·ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ·NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ·PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Compensation:
Pay rates: UP to $36.95/hr. (based on years of experience)
Sign on Bonus: $20,000
